Endocrinology Medical Procedures :

A1C Test for Diabetes :

The A1C test is a regular blood test used to determine type 1 and type 2 diabetes and then to measure how well you're managing your diabetes. The A1C test also known as including glycated hemoglobin, hemoglobin A1C, glycosylated hemoglobin and HbA1c.

Cholesterol test :

A cholesterol test can help to ascertain the risk of the buildup of plaques in the arteries which will result in narrowed or blocked arteries throughout your body (atherosclerosis). High cholesterol levels typically do not trigger any signs or symptoms, so a cholesterol test is an essential tool. High cholesterol levels typically are a major risk issue for cardiovascular disease.

Glucose tolerance test :

The glucose tolerance test measures the response of the body to sugar (glucose). The glucose tolerance test is used to determine type 2 diabetes. More ordinarily, a changed version of the glucose tolerance test is used to diagnose gestational diabetes — a type of diabetes that develops only during pregnancy.

Thyroidectomy :

Thyroidectomy is the removal of all or part of the ductless gland or thyroid gland by our doctor. It produces hormones that regulate each side of your metabolism, from your heart rate to how quickly you burn calories. Thyroidectomy is employed to treat thyroid disorders, such as noncancerous enlargement of the goiter, cancer and overactive thyroid.
